This page lists alternative and donor parts for the TVR Cerbera’s electrical system, interior trim and body hardware. Many of these are commodity items shared with mainstream cars (Vauxhall, Ford, GM, Rover) or industrial suppliers (RS Components, Maplin, JCB), and are usually much cheaper than the equivalent TVR-branded part.
As always, double-check fit, polarity and ratings before fitting anything — TVR’s wiring conventions are not always conventional (several switches are wired closed-positive or normally-closed).
The Cerbera fusebox uses a mix of 4-pin and 5-pin automotive relays. The original TVR part numbers (M0xxx) are listed alongside off-the-shelf equivalents.

Positions 3, 9 and 10 are blank on the standard fusebox.
The main headlamps use Bosch internals. If a lens cracks or the reflector tarnishes, the replaceable Bosch parts are still available.

Watch-out: the original Cerbera boot latch has its release arm angled towards the rear of the car. Most replacement latches have the arm angled forwards, so the linkage geometry needs to be adjusted to suit.

- Several Cerbera switches are wired in non-standard configurations (normally-closed, closed-positive). Before swapping in a generic replacement, identify which two terminals the loom actually uses on the original.
- When fitting alternative relays, match or exceed the original current rating and check the pin layout — 4-pin and 5-pin sockets are not interchangeable.
- Aftermarket boot latches and lock actuators are safety-relevant; test thoroughly with the boot open before trusting them to stay closed at speed.
